The “Miss California Plus America Pageant” will be held January 18th-20th! California Plus America embraces beauty, professionalism and volunteerism within plus size women promoting healthy self-esteem and community awareness. Plus size women throughout the state of California are encouraged to experience the pride, sisterhood and wealth of knowledge that the California Plus America and Miss Plus America Pageants provide to each delegate.
This jam-packed weekend includes a bowling charity event, an optionals competition, pageant finals, and a day at Disneyland!
Friday, the weekend of festivities starts off with a “Bowling Against Body Shaming Charity Benefit” in honor of Fed Up, Inc., an organization that educates kids on body image, self-esteem and healthy living.
Saturday Jan. 19th, 17 women will compete for the California State Title in 3 divisions: Miss, Ms., and Mrs. The three state queens that are crowned this weekend will go on to compete for the national title at the Miss Plus America Pageant in July! The finals competition from 8pm-10pm, is where the winners will be crowned.
