Last week, I was invited to attend Glitter N Glue’s #SparklingDIY event with Swarovski! And there was a dress code!
Fur and/or glitter. Being that I JUST got my Simply Be dress that I ordered, I thought to myself- PERFECT! I will rock this! But, since it was also at a mini Ice Skating rink, I wasn’t too sure how cold it would be, so I paired my dress with opaque tights and my Sam Edelman Velvet “Ulysa” Heels with gold trim! Thanks Sydne for taking my pic!!!
But the highlight of my evening?
My bracelet I made!
YES! I made! We took a gold cuff and had our choice of Swarovski Crystals to adorn our cuffs with in our own pattern! So, we went to town! Using E6000 glue and long stem q-tips, we went to work!

Steps to DIY my Bracelet:
- Picked out my Swarovski Crystals I wanted to use
- Laid out the pattern on the table
- Used the E6000 glue to apply my crystals to my bracelet (I found that applying my glue to the cuff worked best for me!)
- Let dry and Voila! Styling and profiling!
Sipping on some Mint Martini’s and yummy truffle fries, the evening was divine! Some of the girls hit the manmade skating rink over the pool! Really cool and quite chic! Chanel from Chanel Dot Com got a little fancy with a bunch of twirls on the ice! Go girl! I just took pictures and watched!
