Last night, New York was abuzz with the launch and arrival of the Maison Martin Margiela collaboration with H&M. I have been quite curious and I can imagine you are wondering why I am even sharing this collection with you given that there is no “plus size” counterpart to this collection.
However there are accessories and there are a few options for those of you on the smaller side of plus, given the shapes, inspiration, and silhouettes! So, bear with me here!
For this collaboration, MMM has delivered a re-edition of their signature and iconic pieces from over 23 years of the line. What I find to be really cool is that each piece will be labeled with the year and season in which it was inspired from. This collection plays with shape, volume, tailoring, and ambiguity. In hues of white, black, red, the clor palette reflects the signature color range of Maison Martin Margiela.

I have a few favorites too! I think I like the fact where I live, far enough out of LA but close enough to a major H&M, because I know I will be there! I am terribly curious and intrigued! The collection goes live on the 15th of November, giving you enough time to narrow down, choose, and save up to play!
