Last week, Saturday, I had the privilege to speak to a group of young women about body image, the fashion industry, and minding your business! Navigating through media’s images and how, as a blogger I handle mine. I was honored and sooo geeked. If one there is one thing I love to do, it is helping and motivating others to chase their dreams!
Knowing that this was more of a professional event, I dressed up in Igigi. The Daphne Wrap Dress in Print (currently sold out but they have solids!) was my immediate go to! Polished, easy, and comfortable! I rocked the dress by Igigi. I knew it was going to be a no fuss type of dress and one that would immediately do what I needed.
The length was perfect for me! I do wish that this dress went full sleeved though. Most dresses I have found are staunch supporters of the ¾ sleeve. Hopefully this will change or evolve? **Crosses fingers**
I paired my dress with my NEW Sam Edelman velvet pumps with a gold trim! I scored these from Last Call Neiman Marcus! SCORE! I kept my accessories a bit more minimal, knowing where I was headed and didn’t want to be doing too much.
