Theary Sim, designer of Youtheary Khmer, is just too cool for words. If you have ever met her, her laid back cool easily is woven into her collections and gives us effortless style. Youtheary Khmer’s theTONEcollection, will debut on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Twelve24 Boutique, 228 E. Ponce De Leon Ave in Decatur, Georgia.
The Inspiration:
“theTONEcollection explores the timeless element of classic beauty by capturing the historic frame of the woman’s self-portrait. TheTONEcollection carries the color of the story; whose voice controls the harmony; that falls in the shadow of summer. This collection is pieced around the making of a masterpiece. Creating a living color story that tells our tales. The creation of natural femininity is reminiscent of how beauty was reveled before film. A time where brush strokes, acrylic palettes and wooden canvases was a living expression of the woman’s sacred temple.”
