So, as you know, Evans dropped a new collection for their Clements Ribeiro collaboration… I featured my favorite pieces here and score a few pieces from the collection!
Now, peplum is something for fall this is still going hard and a trend that I had wanted to play with without being toooo girly or feminine. If something is too sweet, I tend to shy away from it. BUT, if the item has a classic and timeless appeal? I am all over it!
Such is the case with this Peplum Number I rocked from the collection.

Behind the scenes of a taping, (more to come soon) I had the chance to rock out in this dress and was pleasantly surprised for a few reasons. I will list them out for you:
- The dress is lined. Heaven! This prevents the dress form bunching in weird places, especially when you are rocking a pencil skirt! Score
- I loves the sleeves. I am always concerned and nervous about fitted sleeves and these were good enough!
- I could breathe. I know this sounds funny, but when it is over 90 degrees and you are also on camera or set, things can get a bit… WARM.
- The timeless appeal. I know this dress will last in my closet for a while. If I stay this size, this dress will always have a special place in my closet!
For my look, I wanted a pop of color and a somewhat ladylike appeal. So I fancied this dress with a metallic blue skinny belt, a chunky necklace and colorblocked heels!
