So, right before I changed my hair color, (more soon) I was baking in California. Record highs make for a very troublesome time to get cute. I’m just saying…
This is where the maxi play and the “wear as little clothes as possible” comes into play. I snatched up this uber lightweight jacket from Nordstrom Rack and immediately got excited. Not only for the now, but for fall (staying true to my rules), I could already see the many ways I could make this work fabulously! Wide leg jeans, jeggings with boots, midi dress with platform pumps… its endless.
HOWEVER, given the 100+ degrees, I needed a little slip dress, and I found one! Trying to literally keep my cool, I paired this slip dress and my kimono jacket (I am not sure what to really call it) and layered on the bracelets and the gold to make this work. In any other situation, I would not rock this dress underneath by itself… I am a bit shy when it gets questionably short!
