Asos Curve drops it’s Fall 2012 Look Book

ASOS Curve Fall 2012 Look BookFor the first time, ASOS has released a look book for its plus size line, ASOS Curve, giving us their interpretation and inspiration from the women’s wear main-line collection.  This is major. You see, ASOS starting to include plus size fashion in its trend reports shows them understanding and listening to the plus size consumer! I am loving these first steps!

What is on the horizon for ASOS Curve?

“Embellished slip dresses layered under the essential boyfriend knit are hardened by leather accessories and separates. Coats are updated with an ovoid shoulder while parkas exaggerated with a faux-fur hood. Winter fabrics of velvet, tweed and wool are constructed into long-line maxis, pep-hem tops and tailored suits.”

What I love is that ASOS is acknowledging our fandom over the collection and including Curve in on trend forecasts. I am excited for decorative jewel detailing on androgynous tailoring (right on trend!!!) and simple LBD’s takes us from day to evening, with the fall season’s color trends of “opulent emerald, ruby, sapphire and midnight blues.”

I do hope that in their next look book, they do use a more visibly curvier model, but the fact that we have a look book is exciting! I already see something form the collection that I want and NEED! The collection will go live this month!  If you have checked the Trend Guides, I have already included some pieces from Asos Curve!

How excited are you? Are you ready for fall? Which piece from the collection intrigues you?

I was surprised by the model (first image made me think of Angelina Jolie) only because she seemed smaller than the curvy models they use for the Curve line. Lots of cute stuff I will pine over.
