Celebrating. Accepting. Embracing. Truth.
Not Photo Shopped
I was invited by online magazine about women’s issues, Feel More Better, to participate in their first “Story Tees” campaign: “Not Photo Shopped!”
They’ve fashioned a t-shirt collection called “StoryTees” that carries a positive and empowering message and gives a new book to an underprivileged girl for every shirt sold!
But it gets cooler!

For this story, this campaign challenges or raises the concern with Truth in Advertising. Through this message, Feel More Better has created the Media and Public Health Act, a challenge to pass federal legislation requiring advertising and editorial that meaningfully change the human form through photoshopping or airbrushing to carry “Truth in Advertising” labels.
You know the movement you have seen in the UK, the teen who challenged the magazines, there is a movement to hold the advertising industry accountable for the mixed and altered messages they send to us and our younger girls and I am sooo honored to be a part of this!
To help spread this message, Feel More Better has partnered with 50 fashion bloggers and StyleCaster to bring awareness to the campaign and the movement!
You can purchase this Not Photo Shopped Tee and many others at Feel More Better! You can give them a tweet @FeelMoreBetter and use the hashtag #FeelMoreBetter to join the conversation. You can like Feel More Better by Off Our Chests on Facebook as well!
Thank you to my lil sister at Imoto Photography who shot me!!!!!!!!!!
