Cult of Cali Launch: What I Wore and How Naked I Felt

So, Saturday night, I was feeling a little foxy, sassy, and it was HOT!  Leaving my home, it was like 90+ degrees at 5pm, so I wanted to stay cool and be a little bit bold and playful! As I headed into Hollywood to celebrate the launch of Jen Wilder’s collection, Cult of Cali, I wanted to be playful, sassy, and cool (literally- IT WAS HOT!).

I mean, what the hell, if it flopped, I wouldn’t wear it again, BUT!  I wanted to step out and feel a little sassy, so here it goes:

I wore my Forever 21 Crochet Knit top I bought last year and paired it with an ASOS (straight size 14) skirt with the high slit.  For some reason, NO plus size designer or the items that are always converted to plus sizes NEVER bring the slit higher than the knee.  Give me MY SLIT, I say.

I am rocking my newfound love of a $10 strapless bra from Walmart. YES. WalMart! And I tucked my top into my bra, so the boobs were on deck, the tummy was showing and I had MAD leg out.  I rocked my Just Fab shoes- I think they were about 5 inches or so, but quite comfortable!

I also wanted a dramatic eye.  So I played with my L’Oréal Paris HIP shadow for a blue smoky eye! I accessorized with my new Bottica earrings (using my KLOUT perk), layered on the rings and bracelets, and my new Urban Expressions Red Clutch and voila- we have this:

I wasnt ready and was adjusting the “girls” as the fab Monique from Curves and Chaos took the pics of me!
