So. I have challenged myself to play in skirt and separates more. The whole Girly Girl thing … you know.
Well, I was contacted and chosen to be one of the 25 Plus Size Bloggers for Land’s End ‘Show us Your Style’ Campaign, and I made a dash for the site and eagerly picked out this linen skirt! To my surprise, Land’s End has quite a few pieces for the plus size woman and choosing just one piece to marry into my closet was a bit hard!
Now, if you do not know, I am a Cali Girl second, Island girl first. So I tend to be more on the laid back side of things! BUT, I made it work! I paired this brown linen skirt with a strapless tube top and try this high waisted approach! Interestingly, thanks to Nana, I have the highest waist ever! I have tried to play around in more skirts, so who knows!
With the California dry, desert heat, I think I will find myself in much more linen and quite possibly this skirt once more!
Sunday was my step father’s birthday and I was the helper/photog/mom’s assistant in making sure the event went off without a hitch! So, comfort was definitely key!
I wore my brown linen skirt with a white strapless top I scored many moons ago and I paired the outfit with my new Report Kamille Wedges, and tonnssss of bracelets! Kind of like a mini arm soiree going on!
