Out and About: Dinner with Olympic Hopeful Jason Richardson

A week or so ago, I was invited to an intimate dinner to support Olympic hopeful, Jason Richardson (@Jairich) to celebrate his bid to The London Olympics! Invited by blog sister Claire form The Fashion Bomb, I had no idea what to expect, especially from a fashion perspective- but all I knew is that I would have fun! Especially if it involved Charles Wade too!

I made sure to arrive early or as early as I could despite traffic! Upon getting there, I caught up with Taye from Stuff She Likes and I finally met Miss Bevy! Woot! Another fabulous surprise was seeing Miss Angel from Concrete Loop in the house! Oh! And the ever so chic fashion designer Melody Ehsani and uber talented makeup artist Joanna Simpkin was in the house too!

Sooo many of my east coast homies! Dinner was a great and I got to learn more about the young man whom I watched kill it during the Daegu 2011 Track and Field events (yes, I gets down on some track!). Jason is such a nice man and so down to earth! Learning about how he wants to build his brand, start blogging, and build a support system and team around him- I was honored!

Having the opportunity to celebrate his bid for the London Olympics, chatting and catching up with fabulous friends and new ones, also snagging a swag bag courtesy of Nike and Nivea, the night was perfection!
