Atoia Scott created a brand new line of clothing that evokes the feeling of Ibiza and tropical environs all over the world. The debut season of Scott’s line, Tolla Cole, was held during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week at the Waterhouse and Dodd Fine Art Gallery in SoHo, New York. TollaCole aims to present a modern elegance in it’s Spring/Summer 2012 NYFW.
The collection is composed exclusively of evening gowns reminiscent of the dwellings of Isla de Ferradura in Ibiza
With endless yards of colorful chiffon and trendy chic silhouettes, the collection embodies all things feminine. Not only did the dresses evoke island and tropical but each dress was styled with She’Luxe Couture feather accessories. Between the Peacock and Fuchsia feathers I could hear the tropical birds calling my name.
In speaking with Atoia Scott about sizing, which I am always interested in finding out about, currently the line spans up to a 12 but individual pieces can be specially made to any size.
My personal favorite was the yellow tea length dress with black accents on the bust. Unfortunately, the bust would not hold my “girls” in but I can see a more athletic type wearing it in style.
