*Prelude*
In my head, me and Donna Karan and @dkny are besties. So, when I get invited to the DKNY show, you must know that I am BEYOND GEEKED.
Held at the uber chic Cedar Lake location, DKNY embodied the spirit of New York. Cabs and the city streets as the backdrop, spring for DKNY was a refreshing and exciting parade of chiffons, bolds hues, muted sheers, and the drama of a great floppy hat.
Before the show started, I had caught visions of Brad Goreski, Nina Garcia, Tom and Lorenzo, Recessionista, Fashion, Style, Beauty, and Style Republic! We chatted and spoke about the CDKNY collection with anticipation and excitement- I was not alone in this!
And the show begins…
Sophistication with an ease, perfect for city AND suburban life alike, DKNY had me quite excited for spring (usually reserved for Fall seasons!)
DKNY opened with effortless and chic black and white, from the structured jacket into flowy chiffon options- DKNY then took us into shades of navy contrasted with red florals. Graphic prints transitioned into feminine nudes to bold pops of bright pink.
DKNY has me ready for a fabulous play in spring. With long maxis, short skirts, oozing confidence and chic appeal!
