Okay… So, I love being pleasantly surprised by retailers and designers I would have never given a second thought of. Especially these mass retailers- K-Mart, Sears, JC Penny- I mean when was the last time you peeped out some of their collections?
Earlier this month, I shared my outfit in my K-Mart dress with the exposed zipper, open back detail, and its ease of wear, did you check it out? Well, today, I have to share with you the other item I purchased- a jumpsuit!
Knowing that I was headed to Blog Her, I saved this look just for this weekend! Actually, on the last night of Blog her, chock full of parties, I decided to wear it and coincidentally rocked it to the K-Mart sponsored Siesta party! I had no idea that K-Mart sponsored this event and thought it was kind of funny!
Here I am on the red carpet in my blue K-Mart jumpsuit! Being that my feet were thrashed from all this walking in dressy shoes all weekend, I am sooo happy I brought along some dressy flats to make it work (Gotta love Ideeli!). I hoped it worked!
The only gripe I have with this jumpsuit is the placement of the straps. Kind of like bra straps, you can get in and out of the dress by undoing the connection- BUT, is in the front of the jumpsuit, making for some HIGH-larious wardrobe malfunctions throughout the night. THANK GOD for BRAS!
I loved the fabric, loved the cut and wished that these strap were done in a different way! LOL
