#MAGICLV at the FN Platform

So, as you know, last week I attended Magic in Las Vegas and if ever I had sensory overload- last week was evidence of that. In a Great Way!

FN (Footwear News) Platform deserves its own post because quite frankly- what girl does NOT have a mini fetish with shoes? Even if your closet does not have the collection you avidly and vividly dream of- I literally walked through seas upon seas of shoes!

Day One of MAGIC, I toured FN Platform with the editors of Footwear News along with the other WWD MAGIC Bloggers and with the amalgamation of shoes, I KNEW I had to do a take two and make my way through the amazingness of FN Platform AND this I did on Day 2! On our tour, we made a fabulous circle around the Black Diamond section of Platform! The Black Diamond area featured luxury designer brands, including Jerome Rousseau, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Pollini and Missoni!

On day two, kicking off our morning, we were invited to a fabulous roundtable with shoes designer Miss Trish and were surprised with the ever so brilliant Jerome Rossueau! We talked trends, blogging, authenticity among bloggers AND designers, the Louboutin case came up and we shared thoughts about that as well! I really enjoyed this roundtable!

Lisa Pliner of Lisa Pliner for Donald Pliner Shoes

After we wrapped up, I jetted off to meet with both Footzy Rolls and Lisa Pliner (do you remember that ad?) Oh my! So the founders of Footzy Rolls were amazing and quite busy! Their energy was quite infectious and inspiring!

I snapped a few pics of what is to come for BOTH Fall and Spring! They took their concept of their flat and modernized it! Loafers, color blocking, textures, YES! Comfort and Fashion! In love!

Inspirations from India are laced throughout her collection and some of my favorite colors are included as well!

So, Miss Lisa Pliner is a complete GEM! I had the pleasure of meeting her and chatting her up about her brand and what she had coming for Spring 2012!

As you can tell, I already fell in love with her before I met her, but I was only more infatuated with her and impressed with the deliveries to come to store near us!

Sam Edelman was quite the exclusive and buzzing place as I popped my head into the chic booth!

Only being able to snap the Fall shoes (no worries ladies SPRING will make you smile!) I was already geeked about the details and shapes Sam Edelman had in store!

From their signature pump to the intricate details of their boots- I predict these will be on a wishlist or two!

I had to meet the Brazilian brand after Ballasox saved my life at Blog Her!

Ballasox took their comfy flat and transformed it for Spring! Loafers (as well), flip flops, and new colors and textures in their ballet flats had me geeked!

Fashion and Comfort!

What was more enchanting were the shoes from Ciao Bella and Corso Como.

I hadn’t has the pleasure of trying on their shoes before this day, so I needed to see these up close and personal-like!

Comfort and fashion is infused into all their shoes AND they carry up to a 13! WOOT!

Lastly, I made a much need stop at Boutique 9- especially as the booth stopped me with its newest deliveries from Spring!

I died a few times over! Color blocked heels, Wedge ankle booties, and feather sandals? YES!

right

All in all… I wish I could spend like five days in FN Platform (Yes, I know MAGIC is only 3 days long!) There were sooooooooo many brands I hadn’t the chance to visit! There were quite a few brands I had not heard of. AND there were brands I was familiar with that had a few pairs of fabulosity that I have to go and research! Basically…. FN Platform- you and I have a date in the spring…
