Saturday night, Pacific Cannery Lofts opened its doors to the Two Point Oh LA sponsored Snowball! A time to dress up, primp, create, mingle, and groove to the DJ’s melodies, the event was a blast!
A few weeks back, I shared with you the Snow Ball that was coming to LA, and let me tell you- if you missed it, you missed OUT on a GREAT time!
The décor illuminated the room and the aroma of the appetizers tickled my nose! Thembi from What Would Thembi Do? Officially landed in LA for a stint in Grad school, so in LA fashion, I had her accompany me to the event!

The Make Up Lounge
When we arrived, naturally, I made my way to the open bar sponsored by Chambord and bumped into the fab and chic Tiara from the Dope Girl and Luxe Deluxe! After ordering a Lemondrop with Chambord (you MUST try), we scoped out the scene, and headed over to the Beauty lounge! Thanks to Bren from So Much Pretty, we had a fabulous make up touch up headed by the fabulous Toni (@tonibaloneee)!
Bren did her thing in this beauty lounge! With treats from Foot Petals (just in Case) and the GOODY BAGS! So much that I almost decided to give it its own post, but given that Thembi and I arrived early… check out the bags!

After our amazing score of a bag, we traipsed up to the DIY lounge headed by the vivacious Kristen Turner of Be Vainglorious or D.I.Y. Trying! While up there I fancied myself some arm bling with a snowflake bracelet! SWEET! I have long been a DIY-er, learning how to sew at the age of like 15, but this was too much fun!

My Creation at the DIY Lounge
After we hooked ourselves up in the DIY lounge, we refilled on our Chambord and snuck a seat with Heather of LA Fashion Snob, but no sooner than we snagged a seat did we see such a fun chance for a photo op! Heather looked DIVINE in looks of her own making! Go Heather!

We ran into our fabulous full figured vixens- Monique from Curves and Chaos, plus model Denise Bidot, and PLUS Model Mag’s Fashion Director Reah Norman! Curvy Fashionistas represent!

Then I finally got to meet the ever so effervescent Sasha from LA Inspiration! Woot!

LA Inspiration and ME!
We obviously sat in the right place because later on in the evening, it was raffle time for the Downtown Women’s Center right next to us! Scores of items were raffled away! I was eyeing and coveting the Makeup forever kit… no such luck – BUT Thembi scored some Rocketdog slippers! Go Thembi!

Inny Vinny
After the festivities were over, Thembi and I tootsie rolled our way out of the place (yes, that was playing on our way out- so we did a little to the left, to the left with Alicia from Instant Vintage!) On our way out, we snagged another fabulous gift bag, and I met Juan- the designer behind Seam Ripper! (And he does plus sizes ladies!!!!)

Me and Sydne Summer
Our ride home was so colorful, as we took a wrong turn out and ended up in the traffic from hell… but with good spirits and great laughs- the entire evening was a success!
