Kmart presents the Love your Style, Love Your Size Campaign

Not often, if at all, do I equate fashion with K-Mart. Especially when shopping for plus sizes. K-Mart for me was the childhood spot where my mom would put my Christmas gifts on Layaway…

However, when I first saw this Spring 2011 campaign over on PLUS Model Mag and then when I received this lovely information in my inbox, I was intrigued. Much because of the message and second because of the looks. My love for mixing high and low pieces (higher end with lower price points) had me taking a second look.

Kmart's Love your Style, Love your Size Campaign

I am all over brands and companies reaching out and providing options for the plus size woman, so I HAD to share this with you BECAUSE of the message, so please take a peek at the Spring 2011 plus size fashion campaign from K-Mart:

Not bad for a plus size collection from K Mart eh? I am loving that green tunic top/dress! Does anything catch your eye? Make sure you head over to K-Mart and check out what they have right now and what to expect in the future to come!

I’ve been noticing a fast improvement in all the plus fashion under the entire Sears umbrella. The K-Mart offerings now as opposed to only three years ago are a lifetime of difference, and now is a wonderful improvement!

Wow They really did a fantastic job with the the photos and styling. I’ll be checking out Kmart.

some of these pieces are pretty cute! I’m dubious of the quality thought – there’s a KMart by me so I’ll definitely go try some stuff on rather than order online so I can see before I buy.

This is so great. With today’s economy we need nice affordable clothes. I notice the models handbags and it put me to mind of an article I just read. “DOES YOUR HANDBAG MAKE YOU LOOK FAT??”

I thought it was really cute but informative. It talks about the right handbag for your body type. Here it is.

This is something to look forward on 2011. Finally nice, stylish plus size clothes at a reasonable price.

Very true… but options are always fabulous yes?

As a lifelong larger woman…let me just say, beg even, one more time…just make the styles/colors/fabrics that the”regular” size people have available bigger!! Do you have to make tents with sequins, strange colors, no form?  We don’t want to look like that. We want to wear the same fashionable, flattering clothing as other woman! What is wrong with you people??When will you get it?  And…to make things more aggravating, I purchased a dark green sweater from this brand, with an angled hemline, long sleeves and a scoop neckline.  I liked the way it fit and looked on me. I washed it one time. In cold, on gentle, per instructions.  It’s shorter, faded and the bottom of the top is now gathered so it’s like bloomer bottoms.  So discouraged.
