I have been a bit quiet, with my move to Southern Cali, and it is HOT down here- BUT not as Haute as the latest to drop for Jibri for Fall 2010. The latest collection, “The Third Floor” landed in my inbox today, and I could not sit on this! As one who consistently and constantly delivers on the latest treasures for the Curvy.Confident.Chic. fashionista, Jibri’s latest collection has caught my eye!

What’s the Third Floor?

Designer behind the label, Jasmine shares:

That’s the floor in Upscale Department stores thatÂ house the Â Women’s Designer Collections. It’s always been my favorite
dreamland as a lover of fashion and a hopeful designer. This season I wasÂ inspired by the rich colors, textures, and diverse glamour from The ThirdÂ Floor.

I am trying to figure out if the model is a mannequin or model in a bodylstoking! I am thinking the latter!

That’s actually me in the top photo! (100% model, rather than mannequin!) We’re actually in a whole lot of knee-highs and pantyhose for this shoot! Jasmine couldn’t readily get plus size bodysuits, so we had to improvise. A little photshop magic, and pouf! Model-mannequins!

#s 1 and 2 are so great! That’s how plus-sizers should have the opportunity to look like if they want (sexy like Christina Hendricks), and not just be dressed in sacks, like I think many are led to believe is the biggest option – that is if it ISN’T the biggest option.
