It has been a hectic few months over here for me… all a blessing, but whew!  Never would I think that a year and a half after losing my job that I would be here.  It is such a blessing… but at times, my mind goes on overload!
I am loving the pulse of the plus size community right now!  Just two years ago, there were not as many blogs, emerging designers, magazines… you know the community was brimming, ready to explode, and now?  MAN!  What an amazing time to be a woman, a plus size woman, a blogger- to witness the climate change, open discussion, and revolution of the plus size community!
We have often hoped this presence crossing into mainstream fashion would not be a trend, and with the consistent challenges to the “rule,†everyone is paying attention.  I love it!
So, this month, I am moving back home to southern California! While I am geeked and elated, it is somewhat bittersweet for me, as I LOVE the BAY!  I WILL BE BACK (placing my items in storage in the BAY ensures this!).  However, with blessings from my family and a great opportunity and project I am working on, it makes sense to be home right now.
I have also realized that I need help!  If you have not noticed, I have started to invite contributors to the blog, as the site is taking on a beautiful life of its own. ***If you would like to contribute on a regular and consistent basis, please let me know and contact me.***  I have to play catch up with a few things I am behind on, so that I can deliver to you the latest and most fabulous of plus size fashion!
I must credit Glen of Full Figure Plus (such a fabulous mentor!) who shared with me a while back: “your blog will change over time.†As this has become a blessing, it has at times been overwhelming… lol… **hint hint, if you would like to contribute, holla!**
Know that over the next few weeks, I may be a bit more quiet ( I WILL STILL BE HERE), with fewer posts, fewer tweets, but I am grinding. I have to get my life together to move, take care of some business, and get my mind right. Not that anything is wrong; I just need to get things back on point! I want to be on top of, not behind… I have been extremely blessed and fortunate to have these amazing things going on in my life, and with these blessings, sister girlfriend has to handle her business!
I just need a small moment…
