Although you cannot drive down the 60, 10, or 15 freeways without the Lap Band ads knocking you on the head or the commercials with the Lap Band jingle, the plus size women of LA and its surrounding areas sift through this noise- tuning into the channels of positive body imagery- the kind that both Whitney Thompson and Chenese Lewis have recently shot – in the nude!

What is Love Your Body Day?
Last year I attended an inspirational event of dancing, fashion, and women who oozed style, confidence, and panache- all rising to the challenge of loving their body. And that they did. This year, Chenese is challenging societal views to illustrate the beauty of women of all colors, shapes and sizes with a jam-packed three day weekend of festivities!
America’s next Top Model Winner, Whitney Thompson, comes aboard as this year’s host of the fashion show and main event taking place Saturday, October 23rd at West Hollywood Park Auditorium at 647 N. San Vicente in West Hollywood from 12-4 pm.
Admission to Saturday’s event is free and open to the community. Will I see you there?
