Last week, I had the pleasure of being introduced to the emerging designer of ready to wear cocktail dresses and evening gowns, Viscera. The Fall 2010 collection is titled “Mechelle†drawing inspiration from old Hollywood during the 1940’s with a jazz influence.
With each item in the collection being named after a jazz singer, the Viscera woman is “in her mid twenties to her early fifties, curvy at any size and is a strong role model wherever she dwells- from career to the social scene.â€
Designer Sherita Jennings debuted her collection last fall of 2009 during Fashion Week, drawing from her passion and foreign cultures, her signature style is defined by colorful prints and hand beaded embroidery.
The collection’s sizes range from 0 to 16-
and above 16, the gowns are custom made (how amazing is that!)
In addition to this collection, Sherita has incorporated a capsule jewelry line as well!
Right now, you cannot buy the Viscera collection online YET, but once it is launched, I will let you KNOW!
