The second annual Full Figured Fashion Week is quickly and so fashionably approaching. Between deciding what in the world to wear, where to stay, and what to do, the most important question I have to ask you is:
HAVE YOU GOT YOUR TICKETS?
No for reals!
Have you got your tickets? Events are almost sold out- especially with the VIP tickets to the finale all sold out, what are you going to do? Last year, everyone waited till the last minute, when it was all sold out! So what are you waiting for?
To help you out, here is what is going on:

The Voluptuous Woman Company, Inc® presents “The PLUS Side of Businessâ€
10AM – 12PM
The PLUS Side of Business includes a panel of business owners who will share their experiences of running successful businesses that service the plus size woman/man. The panelists will share with the attendees the resources and information that they have used to create and maintain their respective businesses.
1PM – 3PM
The fashion industry has in general frowned upon the idea of the “plus sized” model, preferring to holding steadfastly to the antiquated belief that fashion begins at a size Zero and ends at a size 6. These days with a shaky economy, 2/3′s of the world’s population wearing a size 14 or larger and growing rapidly by the minute and with February 2010 marking the official end of NY’s Fashion Week at Bryant Park, Seventh Avenue has begun to rethink the notion of the Plus Sized Model in print and on the runway. So what does this mean for YOU the aspiring plus sized model you ask? It means that a completely new WEALTH of possibilities can open up for you to take advantage of if you are willing to learn how to “play the game” called Fashion!
The State of the Curvy Community - A Panel Discussion
4PM – 6PM
This year, in conjunction with the Second Annual Full Figured Fashion Week™, The Curvy Collective hosts a panel discussion, “The State of the Curvy Community.†Perfectly timed, in the midst of current news in the media, this panel discussion addresses the current state of the plus-size community and the significance of Full Figured Fashion Week™, through the eyes of the industry’s leaders, bringing different perspectives from various experiences and points of view.
