Queen Latifah addresses Lane Bryant Commercial Controversy

In the wake of the Lane Bryant commercial pulled from the networks, Shawn Robinson interviews the Queen about Just Wright and her thoughts on the publicity surrounding the Lane Bryant commercial. Interestingly enough, she was unaware of all the fuss, however chooses the most opportune words for the networks….

If you haven’t known this already- I absolutely adore Queen Latifah! No- really! Growing up with her, as a thick soul sista my whole life, seeing her success as a plus size woman only affirmed my confidence that my curves are fly! Her transformation from a confident and secure female hip-hop rapper into a jazz-singing actress and curvy fashionista never ceases to amaze me!

***As a side note, if you haven’t already heard about her leading lady role in Just Wright, the Queen plays a the role where the curvy girl gets the man! How about them apples!
