The thing I hate most about PETA is that they prompt immature people, even when justifiably angered, to react to their anti-things campaigns by indulging in those very things. Suggesting that fur is "ethical for all" is just disgusting. Do they know that a lot of that is cat or dog fur mislabeled as the fur of species we care less about killing? I like the pro-fat pro-fur ad *just as much* as the anti-fat anti-meat ad, which is to say not at all. The thing I hate most about PETA is that they prompt immature people, even when justifiably angered, to react to their anti-things campaigns by indulging in those very things. As a fat rights activist, I was appalled by Peta's campaign, but as a vegetarian, I also feel that it's not only something I absolutely cannot get behind, but that it also reinforces Peta's stereotypes of fat people as meat-eaters.
