Sommer Johnson, Editor in Chief of Gemini Magazine, knew she was more than her curves, and she wondered how many other women were out there felt the same? How many other curvy woman felt bound by limited color choices, gross glittery flowers, and square necklines? How many other curvy gals had been told from a young age beauty was a size 8 and under? How many had been taught only the pretty girls were without hips, thick thighs, heavy breasts, and a round face? Those boundaries needed to be broken. Thus, Gemini was born.
