Friday, August 7th was an amazing day! This day, I announced the opening of Marie Denee to my community by means of a fashion show in Oakland’s biggest summer event, The White Party! Each August, First Friday’s holds the biggest and best white party for the summer!
Deanna, Lynelle, and Daryl were so amazing in letting me show six looks for what is to come for my boutique! I was extremely nervous and geeked, all at the same time! Many thanks to Jibri, Coqo, and Corinthia Peoples Designs, and Kit Kat for assisting me with pulling it all together!

We showed six looks, three from the Summer and three for the Fall. While we were not able to get each look photographed, the event was such a success! I am so honored to have been given this opportunity to make it work to give Oakland and the Plus Community a peek at what is to come!
