After a long, much needed hiatus (Last issue Dec 2007), new owner and publisher of SKORCH magazine, Jessica Kane has announced the re-launch of SKORCH for 9-1-09 and offering print magazine supplement by Dec 09!

You donâ€™t know about SKORCH? Well, while I could go on about how fierce and fabulous this magazine is, I will give it to you, ripped straight from their site:

While a new entity is the plus-size universe is nice, quality matters. It's not enough for a magazine to be "edgy." It needs to have sufficiently high production values to look and feel legitimate. The old Skorch was somewhat lacking in photography, model choice, and page design. I just hope that the new Skoch will have higher production values, so it won't feel second-rate compared to Vogue and Elle and all of the other magazines that are out there for skinny girls.
